James Island Pirates – Fall 2025 Tryouts

We're expanding Pirate Nation this fall.
James Island Baseball Club is forming 9U, 10U, and 11U travel teams for the 2026 season (Fall 25 & Spring 26), and we're looking for competitive, coachable players who are ready to Focus, Hustle, and Have Fun.

Tryout Information

Date: Tuesday, May 20 and 27, 2025
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Stephen Washington Park, James Island

Players may attend both days but only required to attend one day

Age Eligibility

9U – Born on or after May 1, 2016
10U – Born on or after May 1, 2015
11U – Born on or after May 1, 2014

(2026 Season | April 30 Cutoff)

What to Expect

  • A development-first environment

  • Emphasis on baseball IQ, fundamentals, and team accountability

  • Coaching staff focused on player growth and culture

  • Fall season includes weekly practices and weekend tournaments

Pitcher & Catcher Training Clinics
Establish a developmental foundation for both your Physical & Mental game, plus learn proper arm care to strengthen & protect your weapon. 
Free & Open to ALL JI Players ages 8-12 
We put all the training together, learn from game situations, compete with our friends, & have a lot of fun!
Infield & Outfield Training
We center these sessions on Baseball IQ,  sound fundamentals,  & How to Make Outs.
Hitting & Base Running Training
These session are all about good At Bats, On Base Percentage, & How to Score Runs.
